ART-O-Ween is Out Now and the updated version is available for Download. This project is a separate file from the original ART7 as it is designed as a full offshoot adventure game set on the expanded grounds of the Gallery. 

I have updated a few things since the Halloween launch! The process of building this game has been intense. It is again, pulling together a new exhibit of spooky art from the Playdate community, but adding in characters and questlines and trick or treating and a massive amount of scripting. There are over a dozen.. endings. There is new music, new environments, new dialogue. You have a purpose. And this is all built on top of the existing gallery!

To make ART-O-Ween, I exceeded the frame count limit in Pulp and had to continue development by running the project through Pulpmill. This process contains some eccentricities and has required a Lot of testing and it feels pretty solid now. But I could have missed something! Please let me know if you have any major issues. I have run through the full game and tested every win-state, but there could always be that one little thing I've missed. So I'm happy to update! 

v1.11 for example fixes a bug with the Curator in the gallery foyer. He should now give you dialogue and hints throughout the night. Additionally, certain quests work way better now. No spoilers tho. So Please download the update and spend a Night at the Gallery!

Sidenote! One of my major goals with ART7 has always been to show it publically. I accomplished just that this past Thursday night at a big games meetup in Austin, TX. Games Y'all (stemming out of Fantastic Arcade) I've included a ZINE made for the event from the assets in the BTS pack that you can download and enjoy!
