Hello! This is Dylan (Ledbetter Games). I've published ART-O-Ween as a standalone game for anyone that hasn't wanted to make the jump to the full ART7 package. This game was originally released on Halloween night just before midnight and will remain included with ART7 should you choose to get the Gallery. 

The core ART7 package will see future updates with new exhibits. This pdx file is a separate game built on top of the initial release of ART7 with a new Playdate community art exhibit and gameplay! 

As mentioned on the main page, this is an adventure game. I Strongly suggest you take a look at the high res map included here to get a feel for the full environment of the game. To begin the sequence of events, talk to the Attendant sitting in the gallery's first room on the left. If you just want to see the new exhibit, you can progress to 10am the following day, or stay and try to unlock all of the (13!) 'endings' through the course of the night.  You can reset the full game at the bonfire in the back if you want to start over as well. 

ART-O-Ween is completed as a game, but I have considered some extensions to it. There are a few pagination issues that I'd like to address when displaying info text on some of the art. This is a function of the pulpmill process that was critical to this game existing at all, but I think I can fix it. Beyond that, I've mentioned elsewhere that a speedrun mode could be interesting. I put a lot of work into interconnecting the whole environment, and I'd love to see some additional modes and/or achievements added if there is interest. So you tell me! Is there enough hunger to do the work? I sure hope so .
